Robert McClanahan ~ Executive Chef at the Hotel Jerome
Robert McClanahan has been living in the Roaring Fork Valley for almost thirty years. He has worked in the crème de la crème of Aspen food and beverage and is bringing his love and passion for food to the Hotel Jerome.
After attending the California Culinary Academy where he graduated with honors, he interned at restaurants including Masa’s, Squire Room at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco and worked with Chef Jacque Robert at Ernies.
Upon returning to Aspen he became the Executive Chef of Pinons. Robert opened his own catering service and was also Executive Chef at Little Annies and Pine Creek Cookhouse. He has since joined the spectacular team at the Hotel Jerome as their Executive Chef. They are in no hurry for Robert to leave.
Robert’s focus is on world cuisine and farm to table products. His culinary hobbies include Asian cuisine and building curries.
